DO NOT

make any statements regarding any offense or misconduct to anyone until you speak with an attorney.

discuss allegations of misconduct with anyone except your attorney.

 
DO NOT

try and talk your way out of trouble!  It won't happen!

 
DO NOT

give any statements to CID or NCIS without having your attorney present.

 
DO NOT

ask about or agree to take a polygraph until you seek legal advice from an attorney.

 
MUST DO seek counsel whenever you are accused of any wrongdoing, even if you think you are in the clear.  REMEMBER: you cannot rely on the system to protect your rights.
